I am a Masters candidate in the Department of Computer Science, University of Texas, Austin. I graduated from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore with a bachelors degree in Information Science in 2004. Further from 2004-2007, I worked with Cognizant Technologies, Huawei Technologies and Infinera Corporation before enrolling at UT, Austin in Fall 2007.

Currently I'm working as a Graduate Research Assistant with Dr. Tim Whiteaker at the Center of Research for Water Resources, Pickle Research Center, Austin. My current work here includes efficient organization of atmospheric data in the netCDF (Network Common Data Format). I'm using the THREDDS server as the backend server to test the efficiency and enhancements possible.
