Scholarships for Service Program:

UTCS has received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to begin a Scholarships for Service program. The Scholarships for Service (SFS) program provides extensive support (including tuition and fees and a stipend for living expenses) to students pursuing or interested in pursuing the INFOSEC Certificate in Information Security and who have a desire to work as an information assurance professional for a government agency.

The department will hold several information sessions in the next few weeks to provide you with information on the program and how to apply. The dates, times, and location are listed below. Additional information on the program is available on our website at SFS Website. The deadline for applications for the program starting in Fall 2014 is Monday, May 5.

Please join us at one of the following SFS information sessions to find how you can prepare to be part of one of the most exciting and challenging areas of computer science.

The following is my presentation on the program: Presentation slides.
