I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences (ACMS) with specialization in Discrete Math and Algorithms, from University of Washington — Seattle. I also minored in Mathematics.
I received Master of Science degree and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas — Austin.
Research
I am currently pursuing my interests in cognitive science and embodied cognition at the Hayhoe/Ballard Vision Lab. My previous research was in the field of large scale distributed systems, and in particular I was part of the Scalable Data Information Management System (SDIMS) project, under Mike Dahlin. This gave me an insight into how to design a large distributed system, something that provides much value in my current research.
