I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences (ACMS) with specialization in Discrete Math and Algorithms, from University of Washington - Seattle. I also minored in Mathematics.
Currently I am a graduate student in the Computer Science department at the University of Texas - Austin, where I received a Master of Science in Computer Science degree. I am currently working on a Ph.D.

I am currently pursuing my interests in cognitive science and embodied cognition at the Hayhoe/Ballard Vision Lab.
My previous research was in the field of large scale distributed systems, and in particular I was part of the Scalable Data Information Management System (SDIMS) project, under Mike Dahlin. This gave me an insight into how to design a large distributed system, something that provides much value in my current research.
