Information and links for software that will be used in cs
303e:
Class
Discussion Group: The TAs, proctors, and instructors will
communicate with you frequently using the discussion group.
- You will receive an invitation to join the discussion board.
- Once you have joined, you will be able to read posts and
announcements. Post questions of general interest on the
discussion
group.
Turnin Program: Use this program to turn in assignments to
your
folder
on the microlab server. Turnin is web-based, so you can run it
anywhere, not just from the microlab. Access the turnin program
here: http://turnin.microlab.cs.utexas.edu/turnin.
- You must have a microlab
account
to use turnin. Make sure you request your account early
during the first week of class. Allow at least 48 business hours
for account
creation. You will not be notified when your account is created
- just
try to log on. If you forget your password, you can change it
here: http://udb.cs.utexas.edu/passwd
- Make sure that you choose
the
correct class and section when you
are uploading files via the turnin program!
- Once you've submitted your file (which should end in .java),
you
will see it listed in your files table, along with a timestamp
and file
size.
