GradFest Volunteers

Even if you are not able to host a prospective student for the weekend, we can still use your help!

Transportation
Assist in transporting prospectives and grads to and from events throughout the weekend. Some night hosts may not have a car, or may not be available to transport their prospective student(s) for some events; thus, having extra drivers helps significantly. Please note under Comments what times during the weekend you will be available to help.
Guidance & Navigation
There will be many prospective students in transit, either moving from event to event or looking for particular professors' offices and labs for individual meetings on Friday. We're looking for a few volunteers to be on hand to give directions. Times where we will especially need people are 9:40am-9:55am and 2:10pm-2:45pm. If you volunteer to walk students over to lunch at Austin's Pizza around 12:15pm, then you are welcome to stay and eat.
Bull Session Speakers
The "bull session" on Friday (4:30pm to 5:15pm) is an opportunity for prospective students to find out what living in Austin and working at UT is really like. We're looking for grad students to participate in the discussion and help answer their questions. If you have a particular topic of expertise, please note it under Comments.
