The initial lecture concerns the role of recursion and induction in the development of trusted systems.

  • Notes prepared by Moore describe the use of recursion and induction.
  • Notes prepared by Hunt investigate the syntax and semantics for two Boolean-logic systems. The ALU example reviewed in class on November 2, 2010, can be found in files: v-adder.lisp and v-adder-props.lisp

We will discuss these notes as the semester progresses.
