Jian He is a graduated PhD from the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. He was advised by Prof. Lili Qiu. He has joined Facebook as a Research Scientist. He received his B.S. degree and M.S. degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2011 and 2014, respectively.

His PhD research focuses on developing robust video streaming/analytics systems for mobile devices. He also worked on the design of accurate acousitc-based motion tracking systems.

Interests: Badminton, Travelling, Cooking, Mahjong, Video Games, etc.
