Conference/Poster Presentation

Natural Environments Tasks and Intelligence, Austin, TX
Human Walking Simulation in The Sagittal Plane                         Apr. 15 - Apr. 17, 2016

A poster presentation illustrated an approach of generating whole-body walking motions by using a dynamic five-link bipedal robot walking in the sagittal plane and a learning machine studying human walking movements via motion capture data. [POSTER]

Neural Control of Movement, Charleston, SC                   Apr. 22 - Apr.25 2015
Assessment of Error in Motion Reconstruction With Fewer Markers

A poster presentation illustrated that the Cooper, a prototype human dynamic model (HDM) developed by VR lab, is able to reconstruct human walking using only 24 markers without compromising the physical properties of original walking motion. [POSTER]

NIMBioS Undergraduate Research Conference at the Interface of Biology and Mathematics, Knoxville, TN                               Nov. 17 - Nov. 18, 2012
Mathematical Modeling of Human Physiology for Glycaemia Control with Applications to Diabetes: modular system design and implementation

A poster presentation described an intermediate-level "whole-body" system that could be used to explore a wide range of physiological conditions and interventions on individual and community level and showed the implementation of Sorensen model in the Wolfram Modeler setting, and the conduction of several numeric experiments for identifying parameters of insulin sensitivity.
