Mikie

I am an Associate Professor of Instruction in the CS Department at The University of Texas at Austin. I received both my M.S. in computer science and my Ph.D. from this department. I am passionate for CS education and wireless research.

Prior to joining UT, I was an Associate Professor at California Baptist University, teaching core courses in CS/SE undergrad programs. Also, I have worked at Microsoft as a software engineer in the area of Business Intelligence and Cloud Computing.

My research interests include CS education, wireless networking, signal processing, mobile sensing, and health monitoring. For my dissertation, I worked with Lili Qiu with the focus of opportunistic routing in wireless communication.

I love going to parks and beaches with my family.
