My name is Josh.

I am an aspiring coder and leader in Austin, Texas
who loves to create and innovate!

When I'm not creating events or programs,
I like broadening my spectrum by trying all sorts of new things.


I am a sophomore studying at the University of Texas at Austin for its computer science undergraduate degree
which is one of the top 10 in the nation, known for its emphasis in undergraduate research.

I am also a Resident Assistant at UT so I act as an event planner and resource for the residents in my jurisdiction.
As an RA, I have plenty of opportunity to merge awesome event/administration ideas with coding!

I like to apply what I learn in class, most of my projects synergize with events I host as an RA.

Here are some of my most recent projects:

(Python) Genetic Algorithm - Global Maximizer

Uses genetic algorithm to estimate the global maximum of graph-line. Can be tweaked to be more/less explorative or exploitive.

(Python-Pygame) Simple Frogger emulator

Uses simple game techniques and pygame library to create a frogger-like game. Was a fun day-project!

(Python) Genetic Algorithm - Artifical Neural Network

(Python) Genetic Algorithm - Neuron Evolution

Uses genetic algorithm to evolve best neural network. Neural network, combosed of artificial neurons, emulates logic gate combinations.
