Black Bear, Ursus americanus, pays a visit to our cabin in Meeker Park. Black bears range in color from black to brown to tan to the cream color of this bear. Only a bit larger than a German Shepherd dog, this bear was hardly a fearsome creature; it ran off after being photographed.
