I am a third year PhD student at the University of Texas in the Computer Science department. My advisor is Katrin Erk. I am currently a visiting student at IMS at Uni Stuttgart, working under the supervision of Sabine Shulte im Walde.

My research interests include:

• Natural language processing
• Grounded and contextual word meaning using Distributional Semantics
• Geolocatability of words and documents
• Machine learning
• General artificial intelligence
