I am graduate student at the CS department in UT, Austin. I finished bachelors in 2003. Before joining the masters program, I worked with Infosys Technologies and later at Calsoft Private Limited. At UT, I worked as Graduate Research Assistant with Dr. Keshav Pingali , at the Intelligent Software Systems group. I graduated with Masters Degree in Computer Science in May, 2008.
Currently, I work as MTS at VMWare, Inc .
FFTW and Spiral are frameworks for automatic generation of optimized FFT code. Generated code is tuned for the hardware platform, transform size and FFT type. It often performs better than hand optimized code for solving the transforms.
