I am a first-year graduate student at the
University of Texas at Austin
seeking a Ph.D. from the
Department of Computer Sciences
. I received my B.S. from
Southwestern University
in Georgetown, Texas, where I majored in Computer Science, Math and German. I am currently a TA for
Theory In Programming Practice
, taught by
Jayadev Misra
.
I am currently doing research under
Risto Miikkulainen
of the
Neural Networks Research Group
on the application of Neuroevolution to Multi-player games, specifically 3-player
Gomoku
and 3-player
Pente
. I'm also applying Neuroevolution to the game of
Othello/Reversi
in order to develop entries for the
Othello Competition
at the
IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Games
.
I am also a member of
Phi Beta Kappa
, and am the webmaster for the
Student Chapter's Website
here at UT.
