About Me

I have moved to Columbia University. Please visit my page there: http://www.cs.columbia.edu/~simha/. My grad student page will disappear soon.

I'm a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Sciences, University of Texas at Austin and member of the Computer Architecture and Technology lab directed by Dr. Doug Burger and Dr. Steve Keckler. My research interests are in high performance computer architecture, microarchitecture, and compilers. My graduate work has focused on research in scalable microarchitectures, compiler optimizations, and memory consistency models and VLSI implementation of the TRIPS processor. On the TRIPS project, I was the lead designer of the primary memory system and was involved in verification, timing closure and chip bringup.
