I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. My research interests lie in the area of protocol design for mobile networks, some of my specific interests are: localization and mobility prediction, network economics and social networks. My advisor is Prof. Lili Qiu. I completed my Masters in Computer Science in August 2010 with a thesis under the guidance of Prof. Lili Qiu.

Power Aware Scanning in Vehicular Networks
Provided an adaptive scanning algorithm that enables us to scan only when the probability of discovering an Access Point is high. [pdf]
Improving Wireless Throughput using frequency diversity and cognitive aggregation
Worked on bringing cognitive aggregation into the scheme of using frequency diversity with the aim of improving wireless throughput in ad-hoc networks. [pdf]
