08/30/2004 - Dr. Frederick R. Chang will take the position of Research Professor at The University of Texas at Austin's Department of Computer Sciences (UTCS). He will move to UTCS from SBC Communications effective September 1, 2004. Research professors have been a part of UT campus life since 2002, with the goal of enhancing UT's ability to attract the highest quality research talent and more fully integrate research and teaching components.
