Irfan is the Chief Information Officer at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Previously he was a Partner and Chief Operating & Strategy Officer for Engineering at Goldman Sachs, where he began his career in 1995 as an analyst in Foreign Exchange Technology in New York, being named Managing Director in 2006 and Partner in 2014. Prior to that, he held various roles at the firm including Chief Information Officer for Consumer and Wealth Management and roles in the Global Banking and Markets in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Irfan serves on the Board of Trustees of the Horace Mann School. He earned a BS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
