We invite you to join us for this very special event honoring Edsger's life. The program includes a few very brief speeches and a piano recital featuring some of Edsger's favorite pieces, followed by a reception. Attire is casual. You are welcome to bring a spouse or close friend. There is no charge for this event.

If you plan to attend, please use the form to submit an RSVP as soon as convenient, but certainly by November 15 if possible.

Information about parking and the location of the Alumni Center are given below.

With warm regards,

Map and Parking:

For those coming to campus from elsewhere, this map and driving directions show how to locate the Alumni Center. There are several parking garages within walking distance of the Alumni Center. On this overview map, the Alumni Center is located in the lower right corner of the region marked 5. Each of the regions 3, 8, and 6 contain parking garages. For directions to each of these garages, see the following maps:

The region 5 map shows the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center to the lower right as the building with the code UTX. There is very limited parking in the garage located underneath the Alumni Center, which is available for outside parking beginning at 5pm. Regular surface parking on campus is restricted until 5:45pm, so is probably not a viable option for most attendees.
