Projects that Failed:

Diagnose parasitic diseases; diagnose rashes: No M.D. consultant, not credible.
Recognize visual scene: EMYCIN can't represent spatial data well.
Microcomputer failure: Hard to represent structure, failures in EMYCIN.
Degree checking: EMYCIN can't handle conservation or search through alternatives.
