If universal encryption is not feasible, then an application developer
would want a mechanism through which he can specify his encryption
strategies, according to his desired performance criteria. Such tools
should be easy to use, provide the best kind of available options to
the user and support easy interfaces to network protocols. Such
schemes should be extensible enough to support evolving systems and
applications. Our work can serve as the starting point for building
such tools, improving upon existing ones. Our proposed work would
then be a basic block on top of which those tools can be built.
