In this class, CS 326E: Elements of Networking, we discuss the top four layers
in the protocol stack of the Internet:
       1. The Application Layer
       2. The Transport Layer
       3. The Network Layer
       4. The link Layer

Our Discussion will cover the first 500 pages of the textbook:
Kurose and Ross, Computer Networking: A top-Down Approach Sixth Edition,
Pearson, 2013

The total grade for this class is 100 points divided as follows:
    10 Points for class attendance
    30 points divided equally between 3 Homeworks
    60 points divided equally between 3 Midterms

The dates for Homeworks and Midterms in this class are as follows:

Homework#1 is distributed on Tuesday Feb. 26 and collected on Tuesday March 5 
Midterm#1 is conducted in class on Thursday March 7

Homework#2 is distributed on Tuesday March 26 and collected on Tuesday April 2
Midterm#2 is conducted in class on Thursday April 4

Homework#3 is distributed on Tuesday April 23 and collected on Tuesday April 30
Midterm#3 is conducted in class on Thursday May 2 (the last class day)
