MY WAY LYRICS [A Part] As I retire ... from UT, I look back on the work I've done here. I've mentored students, that was fun; Reviewing papers, not so much fun here. I've written code, sometimes it's right; Well there were bugs, can't blame 'em on J. And more, much more than this, I did it my way. [A Part] Mistakes, I've made a few Acknowledged some in the release notes. There would have been so many more, But happily we don't support floats! With BSD, the system's free, And since it's perfect, you don't need me! Whisper words of wisdom, Let it be. [Holly: "Sweetie, that's a different song."] [B Part] Who shall I thank? Well, Bob and J. To do this craft, they showed the way. And Warren got funding for me, And got our stuff in industry. The users' gripes moved us along, Every damn day. [But I appreciate it!] [A Part] So thank you all, it's been a trip, And that's why I will keep on tripping! You've helped me get a grip. That's why this song is just so gripping! I plan to carry on Until my emacs skills start slipping. And more, much more than this, I did it my way. [B Part] You know I've cursed when there is change, Leeroy, GitHub and xdoc gave me the mange. But I gave in, I had to, duh, And anyhow I got my pho. Thanks for the help I've had from all. I did it your way! And more, much more than this, I did it my way.
