Least Chipmunk, Eutamius minimus, seen on the Flattop trail. The chipmunk can easily be distinguished from the golden-mantled ground squirrel: the chipmunk is smaller (10 cm (4") long in the body), has a rather pointed nose, and has stripes down the center of its back.
