Course Packet

The course packet is available for purchase from University Duplicating Services (TX Union, Room 2.214, 2247 Guadalupe, 475-6675). The packet, which is authored by Professor Misra, is similar to that used in previous semesters. However, a new section has been added in the chapter on error detection and correction module, and some other minor changes have been made elsewhere in the packet. Overall I recommend that you purchase a new copy of the course packet; it isn't very expensive and all of the cost is for duplicating (i.e., no one is collecting any royalties on the course packet).

As a convenience to the students in this class, Professor Misra has allowed me to post an electronic version of the course packet. This pdf version is primarily intended for electronic browsing. Departmental facilities should not be used to print out copies of the course packet.
