Simulation Model - Executable but abstracted representation
of a system.
System - Hardware, operating system and application subsystems.
Each subsystem is constructed from a set of components.
Compositional Development - Specification of simulation
models as structures of instances of components.
Compositional Development also flies under the banner of
“code reuse” or “design reuse.” Compositional development
of simulation models is a special but interesting case of this
more general problem.
