This is considered by some to be the finest rum in the world, and I must agree. It's a bit harsh, but the flavor and aroma of cane is so stong that other rums taste like paint thinner after you've tried this stuff.
This rum has been unavailable in the United States for the past few years and has only recently returned to the shelves in Austin. If you like rum, I'd suggest that you pick up a bottle and try it yourself.
