  Parallel Algorithms for Simulation of Fluid Flow, General Transport Equations. Parallelizing time stepping methods and multigrid iterative solvers especially.
• Possible semester project: MPI implementation of a multi-grid solver for a finite element code. All that needs to be changed is the solver and the parallelism. FE code already exists. May just become MPI routines to implement MG for Ax=b, where A is possibly non-symmetric, and/or has non-constant coefficients.
