Graduate Student
Department of Computer Science, University of Texas, Austin.

I am a Master's student at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas, Austin.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from the Madras Institute of Technology where I discovered my passion for intelligent computers. At MIT, I had the opportunity to be the founder and the editor-in-chief of The MIT Quill. I was associated as a Research Fellow at The Indian Institute of Technology Madras guided by Dr.Balaraman Ravindran who introduced me to Machine Learning and Probabilistic Graphical Models.

During Summer 2014, I was working with Dr.Pradeep Ravikumar, Dr.Russ Poldrack and Dr.Sanmi Koyejo towards an interesting application of integrated graphical models to correlate brain visualizations(fMRI and DTI) with behavior. You can take a look here . Currently, I am a teaching assistant for EE360C - Algorithms.
