Who are we?

Women in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a network and community of women. Our mission is to encourage and support women in computing through: outreach, professional development, academic initiatives, and social events.

What is WiCS Hacks?

Women in Computer Science is excited to announce that our fifth annual hackathon will be February 20th and 21st. We will have both beginner and intermediate technical workshops in the days leading up to the hackathon and a 24-hour hackathon starting on Saturday! We’ll also have various company talks and time for you to meet our sponsors. WiCS Hacks is open to ALL women and non-binary students in any major. All skill levels are welcome and we are beginner-friendly!
