Talk Title: Building Cloud Virtualization Infrastructure at VMware
Talk Abstract:Have you ever wondered what a cloud looks like? This talk will present an overview of software building blocks for virtualization, how they work with hardware systems, and how these components create the computing resources that have come to be known as "The Cloud." We will also describe the technical challenges of growing the vast array of hardware and software products that can be used with VMware‚s virtualization infrastructure.
Also, before we wrap up our session with students, a few of our interns from this summer will share thier VMware experiences with student audience members and a University Relations team member will discuss opportunities that are current available for UT Austin students.
