UTCS undergraduate honors and graduate students and faculty may post approved technical papers which are available for on-line viewing.
Attention: Undergraduate honors thesis technical reports require students to complete the FERPA form and submit it to the Undergraduate Advising Office *before* posting the technical report.

Please be advised that the tech report process is a posting service only. Content is not reviewed or edited so your copy will be posted exactly as it is sent.
The Tech Report Center assigns technical report numbers to UTCS technical reports and honors theses. The Tech Report Center also posts technical reports online for public viewing and insures the PCL Library has access to the reports.

Technical Report Help
Posting Technical Reports on the UTCS web site
Step 1: Send mail to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting a technical report number for your paper. Include:
- the title of the paper
- the author(s) of the paper
- the type of paper
Your technical report can be one of the following types:
- regular technical report
- AI technical report
- honors thesis
- masters thesis
Step 2: Submit your completed paper
- as an attachment in e-mail
- as a URL by which the paper can be downloaded
- as a path to the file itself only if the file is stored on the UTCS public network. Be sure the file is world-readable in this case.
Step 3: Provide an abstract of your paper in plain text
The abstract of your paper sent to email@example.com must be in plain text format. This abstract will be posted on the UTCS web site along with your paper.
