Medical Shadowing Experience
2021 - present
- Shadow Dr.Lorenzo Pelly daily and took notes at Valley Regional Medical Center, Valley Baptist Medical Center, and his private clinic located in Brownville, TX.
- Dictate notes for Dr. Lorenzo Pelly at Solara Hospital, Brownsville, TX.
- Record diagnoses, medication and asked questions to patients during home visits and at the doctor’s clinic.
- Record vital signs of patients in ICU for the doctor to dictate.
- Assisted in changing patient’s PEG-tube with the doctor during procedure.
- Read and discussed patient’s lab results with the doctor and physician assistant.
- Perform wound care under the supervision of nurses at Alta Vista Rehabilitation and Heath
Care in Brownsville, TX.
- Attended several QAPI meetings with Dr. Lorenzo Pelly at Alta Vista Rehabilitation and Heath Care, Spanish Meadows of Brownsville, Fox Hollow Post Acute nursing home.
