Tea Time!

Grad student tea time for Spring 2017 will be every Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., in the grad lounge (GDC 4.202).

Election Results

The GRACS executive committee members for Spring 2017 are:

End of Year Party

As usual there will be an end of year party for grad students, organized (in a slapped together manner) by GRACS. Blow off some steam before having to grad finals and other end of year tasks and chaos.

Location: GDC 6.302 (Faculty Lounge)
Time: Monday, May 9 at 6:30pm
Dinner: A selection of Conan's Pizza including both deep and shallow pizzas (and vegan cheese for those who do not get along well with mozzarella for whatever reason, gastric or ethical). Served by about 7pm.
Drinks: Whatever soda/tea we end up getting at HEB.
Amusement: Arthur will have some board games and we could hook up a console to the projector if someone brings one. It's not organized though. If you want to bring one tell us and we can workout connections (the room has HDMI input and we would need 1/8" for audio).

Nominations for GRACS Representatives

In accordance with the bylaws for the GRACS organization, it is time for our semesterly call for Executive Committee nominations. As has been repeated in the past, members of the GRACS Executive Committee are the reason you have donuts at tea time, foosballs in the foosball table, and pizza while you bowl. We strongly encourage you to consider nominating yourself or an individual with whom you associate. The information for nominations is included below:

Nominators and nominees must be students enrolled in a U.T. Computer Science graduate degree program. Self nominations are permitted.

If we have more than 5 nominees, we will hold an election. If we have 5 or fewer, those nominees will take office without any election being needed.
