FOUNDATION COURSES

CUTTING EDGE TOPICS

To earn the Big Data Certificate, students will need to complete the following courses:

* Prerequisite: Intro to Data Mining.
** Students may substitute 378 Deep Probabilistic Modeling to complete concentration during the 2018-19 school year. Faculty approval needed.

Students will also need to take at least one of the following elective classes:

  • Computer Vision
  • Natural Language Processing
  • Bioinformatics*
