Chen Yu
Professor
Chen Yu is the Charles and Sarah Seay Regents Professor of Psychology and Computer Science. His research focuses on computational modeling and quantitative analysis of large-scale multimodal behavioral datasets. His work advances theories in cognitive science and offers insights for machine learning. He is a fellow of the Cognitive Science Society and the Association for Psychological Science. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Rochester in 2004. Prior to joining UT Austin, he spent 16 years at Indiana University.
