Chenfeng Xu is an incoming Assistant Professor of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on efficient machine learning and systems for ML/robotics. His methods have seen broad industry uptake and open-source use, with applications across mobile/embedded devices, robotics, and autonomous driving etc. Chenfeng Xu received his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in 2025.
