Dan Tecuci

Dr. Tecuci is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in The University of Texas at Austin Computer Science Department focusing on document intelligence. After earning his Ph.D. from UT Austin, he conducted research and led R&D teams at Siemens Research, IBM Watson, and EY applying machine learning to problems like clinical decision support, natural language access to large-scale data, computational creativity, drug discovery, and large scale document processing. He has since led the development of AI products and solutions at a few startups, advancing work in natural language processing, knowledge graphs, generative AI, and document intelligence. He is currently a Principal Engineer at concentric.ai building a data governance and privacy platform.
