Dixin Tang
Assistant Professor

Dixin Tang is an Assistant Professor at the UT Austin Department of Computer Science. Before joining UT Austin, he was a postdoc scholar at UC Berkeley working with Prof. Aditya Parameswaran. He earned his Ph.D. from the CS department of UChicago, advised by Prof. Aaron Elmore. He is passionate about building data systems for modern hardware and applications. His current research interests include vector databases, large-scale unstructured data analysis, and data systems on CXL memory.
