Leqi Liu

Leqi Liu is an assistant professor of information, risk, and operations management at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. She is also a core member of UT’s interdisciplinary Machine Learning Laboratory. Liu’s research focuses on building and understanding large language models. Her previous research on this topic has been published in Communications of the Association for Computing Machinery and presented at the International Conference of Machine Learning. She is currently in the process of building the HUman-centered MAchine INtelligence (HUMAIN) Lab, which has the mission to build controllable machine intelligence that serves humanity safely.
