A photo of Professor Lorenzo AlvisiProfessor Lorenzo Alvisi, the Department of Computer Science, has been named the recipient of the Graduate School's Outstanding Graduate Adviser Award for 2010, in recognition of his exemplary service as a Graduate Adviser. Graduate Advisers provide an invaluable service to the university and its community of students, faculty, and staff, and this award is one of the few opportunities available to recognize these individuals.

The award includes a $3000 prize, generously underwritten by the University Co-op, which will be presented at the Graduate School/University Co-op Awards Banquet in May, 2010.
