Devdatta Kulkarni

Assistant Professor of Instruction

Devdatta Kulkarni is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Computer Science at UT Austin. His work focuses on cloud-native systems, with research interests including multi-tenancy, provenance, and scalable system design for modern cloud infrastructure. At UT Computer Science, he teaches and mentors students in cloud-native technologies, emphasizing practical system-building skills grounded in real-world infrastructure challenges. He is the founder of CloudARK, where he has worked with independent software vendors and managed service providers to accelerate SaaS delivery on Kubernetes. He has also contributed to the OpenStack community as a Project Team Lead for Solum.
