Angela Beasley

Associate Professor of Instruction

Angie Beasley teaches introductory programming and machine learning, passionate about engaging others in computer science and explaining complex topics like machine learning, including its social impacts. She has received several teaching awards and is a member of the Provost's Teaching Fellows. Before teaching, Angie spent 15 years as a software engineer for the US Navy, working on sonar, periscope, underwater vehicles, radar, and communication systems. She holds an MS in Computer Science from George Washington University and a BS from the University of Texas at Austin.
