Etienne Vouga

Associate Professor
Dr. Vouga is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences (ICES) at the University of Texas at Austin. He was a PhD student at the Columbia Computer Graphics Group and a postdoc at Harvard SEAS.

Research

Research Interests: 
  • Physical simulation, particularly of thin, elastic materials
  • Geometry processing and design, using advances in understanding of discrete geometry 
    • and applying ideas to solving problems in computer graphics, computational mechanics, and scientific computing
